SHAHLAA

SHAHLAA is a Boston-based American Cabaret Style belly dancer.

She got her start as an undergraduate at Serena Studios in New York City. After a brief hiatus, Shahlaa resumed training with goddess-in-the-flesh Melina Pavlata. It was Melina who taught Shahlaa to truly find joy in dance and helped her to discover her style as an entertainer.

Shahlaa has danced as part of a Daughters of Rhea trio, the Gratiae, with Andromeda and Alethia, both of Boston. Additionally, she has danced as part of Melina's ensemble at Moody Street Circus, as well as with other local dancers for a variety of events.
